Lash Extensions
With lash extensions we apply an extension to your own lashes, one hair at a time. No strip, no glue line: every extension is placed individually on its own natural lash, just next to the skin. That way the set moves along with your own lashes and stays comfortable to wear.
We first look together at your eyes, your own lashes and the look you have in mind. Based on that we choose the length, curl and thickness that suit you. This keeps the result natural and makes sure your own lash carries the weight easily.
Result: a full, curled lash line that looks groomed all day, without mascara and without a lash curler.
Choose your set
You decide how subtle or how full the result becomes. We work with three types of lash extensions:
- Synthetic
- The classic set: one extension on every natural lash. Refined and natural, and a lovely first introduction to extensions.
- Hybrid
- A mix of single hairs and small, lightweight fans. Gives more volume and texture than a classic set while keeping a soft look.
- Real hair
- Our most luxurious set. Extensions made of real hair have a soft, natural shine and feel light to wear.
What to expect
You lie back comfortably on the treatment bed with your eyes closed. We protect your lower lashes with soft pads and then work calmly, lash by lash. Many clients simply doze off during the treatment.
Allow around two hours for a one by one set. The other sets take about an hour and a half. A refill is quicker, because we only top up what has grown out.
Please come without eye make-up and without oily cream around your eyes. The adhesive bonds best that way.
Refills and upkeep
Your own lashes grow and shed following their natural cycle. Because of that a set slowly thins out and the extensions move outward. A refill brings the set back to full.
We refill after two or three weeks. If you wait longer than four weeks we place a new set, because too few extensions are left to build on.
The current rates for a new set and for refills are on our price list.
Aftercare at home
The better you care for your lashes, the longer your set stays beautiful. Keep water, steam and make-up away from your eyes for the first 24 hours so the adhesive can fully cure. After that:
- Gently brush your lashes through every day with a clean lash brush.
- Avoid oily products around your eyes. Oil breaks down the adhesive.
- Skip waterproof mascara. It is hard to remove and tugs at the extensions.
- Try not to sleep with your face in the pillow and do not rub your eyes.
- Never pull out an extension yourself. If one is loose, let us take care of it.
